Dr. Joshua Rock has recently joined Capitol Pain Institute in Colorado Springs as an Interventional Pain Physician, bringing extensive expertise and a compassionate approach to patient care. His passion for pain management is rooted in combining advanced procedural skills with a commitment to long-term patient relationships. He is particularly passionate about stimulation therapy, recognizing its broad potential for healing various types of chronic pain.

Board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, Dr. Rock earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) with Distinction from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed both his Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship and Anesthesiology Residency Program at the University of Kentucky.

Prior to Capitol Pain Institute, Dr. Rock served as the Medical Director of Interventional Pain Management at T. J. Samson Regional Health, where he led initiatives to improve opioid management and patient safety protocols. His leadership extends to various medical committees, including those focused on diversity and inclusion.

Dr. Rock remains actively engaged in research and professional organizations such as the North American Neuromodulation Society, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the Spine Intervention Society, reflecting his dedication to advancing pain management.
