Ben Carlock, M.D.

Dr. Ben Carlock is board-certified in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, with fellowship training in spinal cord injury medicine. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and went on to complete a fellowship at the Baylor/UT Houston PM&R Alliance. He earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University.

For more than a decade, Dr. Carlock has served at the VA North Texas Health Care System, where he has focused on the care of individuals with spinal cord injury, chronic pain, spasticity, and neuropathic pain. His approach emphasizes a comprehensive, multidisciplinary model of care that addresses not only physical symptoms but also function, independence, and quality of life. Dr. Carlock is dedicated to understanding each person’s unique challenges and helping them achieve their goals through personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
