Bracing can serve as a reminder to use proper posture and technique with your affected areas, so as not to cause further damage or injury. Bracing can also serve to offload the affected joints and prevent further damage. Additionally, certain types of braces have spring loading mechanisms and allow improved functioning.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Bracing generally lasts as long as you are wearing the brace.
