Dr. Jenny J. Kim received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She earned her medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in Stony Brook, New York. Dr. Kim completed a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, as part of the Medical Research Scholars Program. She went on to complete her residency in anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, followed by a fellowship in pain management at Vanderbilt.
Dr. Kim is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented her research nationally, with a focus on pain mechanisms and interventional pain therapies.

Outside of work, Dr. Kim enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
