Spinal Cord Stimulation


This is a device sends electrical pulsed signals to one’s spinal cord in order to help with the control of pain that is chronic. In its simplest form, spinal cord stimulation consists of the implantation of stimulation electrode in one’s epidural space. In the gluteal region or the abdominal area there is an electrical pulse generator that is implanted, and the wires are connected from the generator to the electrodes as well as the remote control for the generator.
