Dr. W. Blane Richardson practices with Capitol Pain Institute and specializes in advanced interventional treatments to restore function and relieve pain. He provides spinal and peripheral injection therapies, neurostimulation, minimally invasive lumbar procedures, and regenerative treatments such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and intradiscal biologics. He is board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.

Dr. Richardson earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, completed an Anesthesiology residency at the University of Massachusetts, and a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the University of Kentucky. He has led his own practice, Southern Grace Precision & Aesthetics, served as an interventional pain specialist in multidisciplinary spine centers, consulted on medical device development, and participated as a clinical investigator and co-author on studies of minimally invasive lumbar procedures and intrathecal drug delivery. He is an active member of national societies including the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), American Academy of Pain Medicine (AAPM), American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), and the International Spine Intervention Society (ISIS).

Personal

Outside of work, Dr. Richardson is a husband and father of four who enjoys CrossFit and martial arts training, home improvement projects, music, movies, and time with his family.
