Epidural Adhesiolysis

Epidural adhesiolyisis, or epidural neurolysis, is a treatment that is used for back pain which is chronic. The treatment involves reduction, elimination, and/or disruption of the fibrous tissue of the epidural space. A catheter is placed in the epidural space using a transforaminal, interlaminar, or caudal approach. The procedure also uses a spinal endoscopy in order to see the adhesions.
